Our value of ensuring excellence through evidence means we use data and proven practices to help our students grow. To date, 90% of RPS 8th graders have used Xello to discover careers connected to their personal interests. By using these tools, we are investing in our community’s future and preparing the next generation of thinkers and doers. Back by popular demand! Our Annual Day of Play is scheduled for Friday, February 6!

The Global Day of Play is a worldwide celebration that encourages children and families to unplug from screens and reconnect through active, creative play. It highlights the importance of play in supporting physical health, emotional well-being, and social development. By promoting games, imagination, and outdoor activities, the day reminds communities everywhere that play is essential for learning, joy, and human connection.

This year's official Global Day of Play is Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Sunset Terrace will recognize this day for the 3rd straight year on Friday, February 6, 2026. We are in the process of planning many fun activities for this day and cannot wait to share more information about this as we finalize our plan.
