Meet the Principal

I'm new to Sunset Terrace, but not Rochester Public Schools. Being at Sunset is a bit like returning "home," as my very first classroom experience as an aspiring teacher was in 1st grade here. 

While we have many hopes and dreams for this school year, the goals we are going to closely monitor are the well-being and belonging of our staff and students. We are also going to focus on reading instruction. Of course we believe all subjects are important, but reading is the foundation of everything else, so it is something we really want to study this year. 

Fun Fact: I earned a new title in May: Grandma! It's been a blessing to our family to watch my grandson Walter William flourish and grow.
